ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಡಾ. ಸಂಜಯ್ ಕೆ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ, ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಗೊಗಟೆ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿ (KLS GIT), ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಎಂಬಿಎ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಫೌಂಡ್ರಿ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಫೌಂಡ್ರಿಮೆನ್ (IIF) ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ“ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್‌ಎಂ – ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ರೂಪಾಂತರ” ವಿಷಯದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ (HR) ವಲಯದ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುರಿತು ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು, ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವುದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವಿವಿಧ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಮನ್ವಯಗೊಳಿಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಾ. ಸಂಜಯ್ ಕೆ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ ಅವರು ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತಮ್ಮ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪರಿಣತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪಾತ್ರ, ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ವೇದಿಕೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರಳೀಕರಿಸುವುದು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವುದು, ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಆಧಾರಿತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ನೆರವಾಗುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಸುಧಾರಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಇಂದಿನ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರಿಂದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೊಸ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ, ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯಾ-ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತ ಕಾರ್ಯಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರಾತ್ಮಕ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯತ್ತ ಸಾಗುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು. ನೇಮಕಾತಿ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ, ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಸಂವಹನ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣೆ (Analytics) ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಸಾಧನಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತತೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಫೌಂಡ್ರಿ ಉದ್ಯಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಿದ 50 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳ ಡಿಜಿಟಲೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಕಾಶಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉತ್ತಮ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಗೊಗಟೆ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿಯ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವಿಶೇಷೀಕರಣದ 15 ಎಂಬಿಎ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೂ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರ ಈ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ಎಚ್‌ಆರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಪದ್ಧತಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ನೇರ ಅನುಭವ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ದೊರೆಯಿತು.

ಎಂಬಿಎ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಡಾ. ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಜಾಮ್ನಾನಿ ಅವರು ಡಾ. ಸಂಜಯ್ ಕೆ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ, ಇಂತಹ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ-ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಅನುಭವ ಒದಗಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯದ ನಡುವಿನ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.

Dr.Sanjay K. Deshpande Invited as Resource Person for Workshop on Digital HRM

Belagavi: Dr. Sanjay K. Deshpande, Associate Professor, Department of MBA,
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi, was invited as the
Resource Person for a workshop on “Digital HRM – Transforming HR Processes”,
organized by the Belagavi Foundry Cluster in association with the Institute of
Indian Foundrymen (IIF), Belagavi Foundry Cluster.

The workshop was
organized with the objective of awakening, educating and encouraging the HR
fraternity to embrace digital platforms for efficient and effective HR
operations. With digital transformation increasingly influencing the way
organizations manage their workforce, the session focused on helping HR
professionals understand how technology can be integrated into various HR
processes.

Speaking on the
occasion, Dr. Sanjay K. Deshpande brought his academic expertise and practical
understanding of Human Resource Management to the session. He addressed the
participants on the evolving role of technology in HR and discussed how digital
platforms can help organizations streamline HR processes, improve operational
efficiency, strengthen employee engagement, support data-driven decision-making
and enhance the overall effectiveness of HR functions.

Dr. Deshpande
also highlighted the changing expectations from contemporary HR professionals
and the need to move beyond conventional, process-oriented HR practices towards
technology-enabled and strategic HR management. The session provided
participants with insights into the relevance of digital tools in areas such as
recruitment, employee management, performance management, learning and
development, communication and HR analytics.

The workshop
witnessed participation from more than 50 HR Heads and Managers representing
the foundry industry and associated organizations. The interaction provided an
opportunity for industry professionals to discuss the practical challenges and
opportunities associated with digitalization of HR processes.

The program also
saw the participation of 15 MBA students specializing in Human Resources from
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology. Their participation enabled them to gain
direct exposure to industry expectations and contemporary HR practices, thereby
connecting their academic learning with emerging developments in the corporate
world.

Jamnani, HOD – MBA, appreciated Dr. Sanjay K. Deshpande’s contribution to the
program and noted that such industry-oriented engagements provide valuable
exposure to students while strengthening the connect between academia and
industry.
