Pragativahini Nws, Belagavi : Ramesh Nayik, a Police Constable attached to Chikkodi police station whose marriage was fixed on May 19 was killed in a road accident occurred at Belagali cross near Nagarmunavalli village in Chikkodi taluk on Thursday night.
Ramesh, after completing his Thursday’s job was returning to his native Pamaladinni in Gokak taluk on his bike when hit by an unidentified vehicle and killed on the spot.
25-year-old Ramesh joined department two years ago and after completion of training at Bengaluru he was posted to Chikkodi police station. He spoke about his wedding with his colleagues at the station before going to home.
