Pragativahini News, Belagavi : The 30-year-old woman who was ‘missing’ from Corona Virus quarantine centre at Gokak found at Bellad Bagewadi village in Hukkeri taluk on Saturday night.
The woman who escaped from the centre joined her husband waiting at bus stand at Gokak town and been to one of his relatives house at Bellad Bagewadi. After knowing that police were arriving to the place she left to a nearby place and hid at a shed with her husband and later moved into a Sugarcane field and hid, however both were traced and quarantined back at a centre at Hukkeri town.
The woman after wedding shifted to Mumbai and four days ago she returned to her native Panjyanatti village in Gokak taluk and was shifted to the quarantined centre after villagers informed officials about her arrival from Mumbai.
Her husband basically from Maharashtra who was a convicted prisoner was released on parole and contacted his wife on phone who later escaped from the centre, putting the concerned staff into trouble.
