SP Nimbaragi Helps Rs 50,000 to Farmer’s Family who Ended Life Recently on Failure of Borewell
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : The humanity, kindness of Belagavi SP Laxman Nimbaragi toward helpless people focused again as he gave Rs 50,000 to a farmer family whose head ended his life due to economic crises, at Raibhag taluk last month.Farmer Lakkappa Sangappa Dodamani from Sultanpur village in Raibhag taluk ended his life by jumping into the borewell which he dug last month. The borewell got failed and the farmer family landed in financial problem as it borrowed loan for the project.
Within a few hours of his death, SP Nimbaragi rushed to the house of the grieving family and assured about helping individually. As assured he gave Rs 50,000 to the family for the education of the children. Raibhag Police Inspector KS Hatti, in behalf of SP handed over the cash to deceased farmer’s children Sanghamesh and Jayashree.
It may be recalled that one of the poor woman from athani taluk admitted her son in the district hospital. After death of her son she had no money to take back the body and cremated in Belagavi by collected the unburnt maters at the crematorium, she even had no money to go back to her place. SP Nimbaragi, after knowing the matter arranged a taxi and sent the woman and her young daughter to her place. He himself paid the taxi fare and some money to the woman.
