The Students of Jain College of Engineering won the Hand Ball Tournament of VTU Belagavi zone on 3rd April 2019.
In the Quarter final match they defeated GIT , Belagavi . In the Semi- final match they defeated KLEIT- Hubbali . In the final match they defeated SDMCET- Dharwad.
The Match was organized at Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi on 3rd April 2019. The JCE Handball captain is Deepak Thondihal from the Department of MBA.
Vipul Chougule , Physical Education Director of JCE said that the JCE Team was consistently winning all the matches due to which the confidence among the players increased.
The team will be thoroughly practicing for the next level of matches which will a Inter zone Tournament scheduled on 8th and 9th April 2019 at Nagarjuna College of Engineering , Bengaluru.
He congratulated the entire team.
