Anant kumar Hegde, BJP Candidate from Uttara Lok Sabha constituency submitted another three sets of nomination papers to the Returning officer here on wedensday.
There were some descriptions in the affidavit filed by him with the nomination papers on Tuesday. The on Tuesday while filing the affidavit Anant kumar had written in the assets and liability column NA instead of writing ‘Not Applicable’. In some columns related to the criminal cases filed against him he had written NA instead of ‘Nil’. The returning officer Harish kumar K. who had accepted the nomination had pointed out these discrepancies. On Wednesday Anant kumar filed new afferent by correcting the previous errors. Barring this no content of the affidavit including the assets and liabilities of his family, pending criminal cases against him have remained same. Anant kumar’s wife Shriroopa Hegde, Karwar MLA Roopali Naik and his advocate B. S. Pai were present while submitting the second set of the nomination papers.
