Pragativahini News, Belagavi – B C Patil, Agriculture Minister, Govt of Karnataka, visited KLE Society’s Head Office at Belagavi on 14th September 2020.
Speaking on the occasion, Patil highlighted the multifaceted commitments undertaken by the KLE Society including education and healthcare, especially for people in the rural areas. The Minister made a special mention of the KLE Krishi Vigyan Kendra and its role in transforming agricultural thought and practices in and around Mattikoppa village.
Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman , KLE Society, shed light upon the philosophy and work of KLE-KVK in promoting modern and better organized agricultural practices, providing vital agricultural inputs and supporting multiple means of livelihood. He called upon the Government to ensure an urgent redressal of the problems faced by the farming community in North Karnataka.
