ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ದಿಸೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಅನೇಕ ನಾಯಕರು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಂತದಿಂದಲೇ ಬೆಳದುಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಇಚ್ಛೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಡಾ. ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಜನವರಿ 13ಕ್ಕೆ ಈ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಮೊದಲ ಸಭೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಸುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚಿಸಿ, ಡಾ. ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಂಚಾಲಕರನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚುನಾವಣೆ ರೂಪುರೇಷೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಮಿತಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಿಗೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ನೇಮಿಸಿರುವ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ. ಎಂ.ಸಿ. ಸುಧಾಕರ್, ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸಚೇತಕ ಸಲೀಂ ಅಹಮದ್, ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅರ್ಷದ್, ಬಿ. ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಪುಟ್ಟಣ್ಣ, ಬಸವನಗೌಡ ಬಾದರ್ಲಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಚ್.ಎಸ್. ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್ ಗೌಡ, ಕೀರ್ತಿ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಈ ಸಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕಾಲೇಜು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯಯರು, ವಿವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಿಗೆ ಋತುಚಕ್ರ ರಜೆ ಕೊಡುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಸೂಚನೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಿಎಂ ಆದೇಶವೇ ಅಂತಿಮ ಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಸೀಟು ಶುಲ್ಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿಲ್ಲಎಂದು ಡಾ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
There is an intention to hold elections in colleges: Dr Sharanaprakash Patil
KPCC president has constituted a committee; opinions will be gathered and a report submitted
Bengaluru: Leadership begins at the student stage itself, and many leaders have emerged from the college level. With this perspective, there is an intention to conduct elections at the college level, said Dr Sharanaprakash Patil, Minister for Medical Education, Skill Development, Livelihood and District In-charge Minister for Raichur.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event at Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on Friday Dr Patil, who is also the convener of the committee, said that the first meeting of the committee will be held on January 13.
In connection with conducting elections in colleges, KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar has recently constituted a committee and appointed Dr Sharanaprakash Patil as its convener.
The meeting will deliberate on the framework and modalities for conducting elections. Based on the decisions taken at the committee meeting, a report will be prepared and submitted to the KPCC president, Dr.Patil said.
The committee constituted by the KPCC president includes Higher Education Minister Dr M.C. Sudhakar, Chief Whip Saleem Ahmed, MLAs Rizwan Arshad and B. Shivanna, Legislative Council Members C. Puttanna, Basavanagouda Badarli, H.S. Manjunath Gowda and Keerthi Ganesh.
Menstrual leave in colleges: CM’s decision final
If the Chief Minister issues directions to provide menstrual leave to college and university students, it will be implemented. The Chief Minister’s decision will be final, Dr Patil said.
He also clarified that there has been no discussion on increasing fees for engineering and medical seats.
