Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Constable Prakash Guraianvar who allegedly ended his life by shooting himself at the Security Guard chamber at Deputy Commissioner official residence.
on Tuesday was said to be suffering with phycological illness since two year and was under treatment.
Resided at PWD quarters with his wife, c 2 children, mother and brother, Guraianvar used to give gap for the treatment and restart. Recently with the force of his family he had started again the treatment.
As engaged much in watching smartphone whenever at home, which was not good for his health, his family had took his smartphone and gave him a ordinary keypad phone two days ago.
He was leave on few days and jointed back to services, he was supposed to relieve at 9am. Three police personnel in shift guard the DC’s house.
He might have ended the life in the midnight. He sat on the chair inside the chamber, aimed an other end of the riffle below the jaws and triggered with his thumb of the leg. The bullet passed out through his head. His body was seen in sitting position on the chair.

Belagavi : In a bizarre incident security personal on duty at
Deputy Commissioner’s official residence at Vishveshwarsiah nagar found dead with bullets pushed into his head on Tuesday.
The personal has been identified as Prakash Guraianavar, 32, attached to Belagavi Reserve Police Force. Guraianvar who was on night duty was assigned a place at the entrance gate of the house. Around 7 in the morning he allegedly shot two round of bullets into his head from right side from his service revolver and collapsed in the security guard cabin.
Hailed from Ambadgatti in Kittur taluk, Guraianvar had joined police department in 2008. He is survived by wife and two children. The reason to take him the extreme step yet to ascertained.
The APMC police have registered s case.
