Pragativahini News, Belagavi : First ever after the deadly pandemic broke in the nation, the Corona Virus has taken a major jump with 17 more positives in the district. With the major addition, the epidemic has got 36 positives in the district.
The Health Bulletin consisted the development from 5pm from last date till 12pm today, Hirebagewadi has got 8, Kudachi in Raibag taluk 7 and Belagavi and Sankeshwara have got one each positives. With the latest addition Kudachi has got total till date 17 and Hirebagewadi 13 positives. The positives in Kudachi is added with one each positives from Goa, Vijayapur and Miraj in Maharashtra.
ALL SUSPECTED IN A ROOM CAUSES FOR MAJOR JUMP ?
The negligence of the health department in following the Quarantine norms of the health ministry is said to be the cause for the major jump of positives in the district as all the suspected had housed in a hall-quarantine at the Male and Female Medical Wards at the district hospital. All the 4 wards each have capacity to house 30-35 patients.
The suspected must isolated separately and should be kept away from the positives, however, all the suspected housed in a Isolation ward in the general halls. The positives have been housed on the second floor while the suspected are in first floor of the medicine unit.
