Pragativahini News, New Delhi : Considering his loyalty to the party, efforts to bring back the dissidence MLAs during ‘Operation Lotus’, the Congress High Command (HC) the has nominated former minister DK Shivakumar as the head of the party in the state.
DKS nomination to the post was expected when the HC noticed his efforts to bring back the dissident MLAs who were camped at Mumbai after tendering their resignation, last year.
Sonia Gandhi the care-taker chief of the party also continued former CM Siddharamaiah as the leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly as well the leader of Party Legislators.
Eshwar Khandre, Satish Jarkiholi and Saleem Ahemad have been nominated as the Working Presidents of the party.
