The foundation stone was laid for the new Dhyana Mandira (Meditation Centre) at Bhutanakatti village adjacent to the National Highway. The Rs. 2.08 crore project is being built in the name of Athani Shivayongi swamiji.
The centre will be built in 3.5 acres of the land and will be one of the great meditation centre, said Prabhu Channabasava Swamiji. This project will include the free prasads distribution centre, old age home, a community hall, Yatri Niwas and many more he said. the centre will remain open for the people who ned the solution for their problems.
Siddharama Swamiji of Naganuru Rudrakshi mutt, Gurusiddha Swamiji of Karanji mutt, Shivayogi Degaru and many other pontiffs are present. The foundation stone laying ceremony was in progress when this report was being filed
