Four Police Constables from Hassan On-duty in Belagavi Infected with Corona Virus
Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Four Police Constables from Hassan district who were assigned COVID-19 duty at Koganolli Check-post at Nippani taluk tested Corona Virus positives.
They used to attend 2, 000 to 3, 000 people everyday who used to enter the state from and via Maharashtra. As the size of people entering from Maharashtra which is burning severely with virus is large, these police personnel might have infected.
While, 4 more suspected from Belagavi who are in Isolation ward at the district hospital have been detected positive and shifted to COVID-19 ward.
One each from Kerala and Delhi and two people arrived from Maharashtra are the infected. With the addition, the district tally of positives reached to 147.
The state has 122 positives including the four from Belagavi taking the toll up to 2405.
