GIT Won the Award at IMTEX-19

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (GIT) has bagged the award and a cash prize at the International Exhibition “IMTEX -19” held recently at Bengaluru International Exhibition Center, Bengaluru for the project on nano fluids.

Every year Indian Machine Tools Manufacturers Association (IMTMA) organizes this prestigious Indian Machine Tool Exhibition (IMTEX).
It was an event organized to showcase the advanced and most up-to-date developments in Machine Tools, Metal Forming Equipments and Industrial Research. At this International Exhibition more than 400 industries all over the world exhibited their products.
To interconnect recent developments in the industry and academic institutes, this exhibition had a very special platform called “I2 Academic Pavilion” where technical academic institutes can showcase their industry relevant research. After rigorous preliminary rounds of selections, including IIT’s, NIT’s and many more prestigious technical institutions were selected to exhibit their research work on 3D printing, Additive Manufacturing, Nanotechnology, Industry 4.0 etc. KLS Gogte Institute of Technology was one among. KLSGIT presented the research work on the use of nano fluids for milling process which is being carried out by Prof. Harshit B. Kulkarni, faculty of Mechanical Engineering Department in collaboration with Galaxy Machinery Pvt Ltd, Belagavi under the guidance of Prof. M. M. Nadakatti and Prof .R.M.Kulkarni. The work was evaluated by a team of experts from industry.
