Pragativahini News, Belagavi -Students of KLS Gogte Institue of Technology excelled and won the First position in National Level Fest “Waves – 19”, a nation’s 2nd largest cultural fest organized by Birla Institute of Technology, Goa.
Including some private universities there were more than 50 prestigious institutions pan India participated in this event. Students of KLS GIT bagged prizes in various events like 1st place in Natyanjali (Thematic Group Dance), Fashion Parade (Fashion), Rangamanch (Play), Aavant-garde (Fashion Designing), Cultural gauntlet (Literary), MOTEEF (T-shirt painting), Arthathon (Fine Arts) and Let’s not get wasted (Best out of waste) ; 2nd place in Nukkad Natak, Indian Rock (Music), Silence is the Amps (Music), Arthathon (Fine Arts), Let’s not get wasted (Best out of waste) and 3rd place in Arthathon (Fine Arts), MOTEEF (T-shirt painting).
Students bagged more than 20 prizes and won the General Championship Trophy. More than 80 students participated under the guidance of Principal Prof. D. A. Kulkarni, Cultural Coordinator Dr. Shivukumar, Coordinator, Prof Abhishek Deshmukh, Prof. Priyanka Deshmukh, Prof. Tejraj Kinkar and Prof.Kuldeep Sambrekar.
