The role of Shri Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji of Hiremutt Hukkeri in organising the Kannadigas in Goa is very important. Goa government is ready to offer 2 acres of land to build the Kannada Bhavan here, said Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa. He was speaking at the Kannada Sahitya Sammelana in Bicholim on Sunday.
Addressing the Kannadigas in the function Shri Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Swamiji said that he was visiting Goa for last 15 years. ‘it is one of the happiest day in my life as the CM has offered land to build the Kannada Bhavan in Goa. When we met him last year he was the speaker in the Goa assembly. Then I had blessed him and said he would become CM soon. Within one year he has become CM. it is a great honour to us’ Swamiji said. he thanked the Chief Minister for offering the land.
