The police on duty informed their higher ups and later took them all near City Corporation Sports Complex at Ashok nagar where Belagavi DC SB Bommanhalli and Police Commissioner Lokeshkumar rushed and arranged food for them. All those arrived were from Humnabad and Bidar district.
As Goa was kept on driving out all the Kannada labourers, the Karnataka brought this to the notice of Central government itself in the night which immediately instructed Goa to stop putting out the out staters and to get back all who were sent out.
