*600ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜಿಟಿಸಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡಲಿರುವ ರ್ಯಾಂಗ್ಸನ್ಸ್ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್, ಎಕ್ಸೈಡ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ರ್ಯಾಂಗ್ಸನ್ಸ್ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಬ್ಯಾಟರಿ ತಯಾರಕರಾದ ಎಕ್ಸೈಡ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ 600ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಜೀವನೋಪಾಯ ಮತ್ತು, ರಾಯಚೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶರಣಪ್ರಕಾಶ ಆರ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರ ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು.
ಟ್ಯೂಬ್ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಳಗಳು, ಉಪಗ್ರಹ ಸಂವಹನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಉಷ್ಣ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು, AI-ಚಾಲಿತ ಸಾಫ್ಟ್ವೇರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಮತ್ತು ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್ಗಾಗಿ ಎಂಬೆಡೆಡ್ ಸಿಸ್ಟಮ್ಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ರ್ಯಾಂಗ್ಸನ್ಸ್ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್, ಈಗ ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸಂದೇಶ್ ಪಿ ಸತೀಶ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ವೆಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್, ಸಿಎನ್ಸಿ, ಸೆಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಮಿಂಗ್, ಲೇಸರ್ ಕಟಿಂಗ್, ಫಿಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್, ಶೀಟ್ ಮೆಟಲ್, ಟೂಲಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿನ್ಯಾಸ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ 35 ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 200 ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಎಕ್ಸೈಡ್ ಎನರ್ಜಿಯ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ ಸ್ಟ್ರೀಮ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವವರನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಯುಕೆ ಮೂಲದ ಎನ್ಪಿಟಿಸಿ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಗಗನ್ ಅಗರ್ವಾಲ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ಜೊತೆ ಸಹಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ, ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವರ್ಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮ-ಸಿದ್ಧ ತರಬೇತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಗಮನಹರಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಮ್ಮಿಲನ
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಕೂಡ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿ. ಸುದರ್ಶನ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ, ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆ, ಉದ್ಯಮ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ, ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳು ದೊರೆಯಿತು ಎಂದರು.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ 1972 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪಡೆದ ಮೊದಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಮೋಹನ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಶಾಸಕ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ. ಇ.ವಿ. ರಮಣ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮನೋಜ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮೀನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಟಿಟಿಸಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಸಿದ್ದಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ ಬಿ. ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Rangsons Aerospace, Exide Energy to Employ Over 600 GTTC Students
Bengaluru, Jan 28: Rangsons Aerospace, one of India’s premier aerospace manufacturing companies, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the government-run Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC) to recruit nearly 200 diploma students trained at the institution. In a similar move, Exide Energy, a leading battery manufacturer, inked an MoU to employ around 400 GTTC students.
Several other companies also signed MoUs with GTTC to recruit its students who have undergone advanced, industry-oriented skill training. The MoUs were signed at the GTTC campus in Rajajinagar during the GTTC Alumni Meet, held in the presence of Medical Education and Skill Development Minister Dr. Sharanaprakash R. Patil on Wednesday.
Rangsons Aerospace, which manufactures hoses, tubes and ducts for fluid distribution, satellite communication systems, thermal management solutions, AI-driven software and embedded systems for defence and aerospace applications, said GTTC graduates fit seamlessly into job roles with minimal additional training.
“We are looking to recruit nearly 200 professionals across 35 trades, including welding, CNC operations, setting and programming, laser cutting, fitting, sheet metal, tooling and design engineering, quality control and non-destructive testing. GTTC is one such institution where students are trained comprehensively in all these skills,” said Sandesh P. Satish, Chief Human Resources Officer, Rangsons Aerospace, after signing the MoU.
Subhash Srinivas, Head – Manufacturing Engineering, Exide Energy, said the company was keen on hiring freshers with skill training in mechanical engineering, high-end automation, electronics and electrical streams. “Such industry-ready talent is readily available at GTTC,” he noted.
Meanwhile, Gagan Aggarwal, Head of the UK-based NPTC Group of Colleges, said the MoU signed with GTTC aims to strengthen advanced manufacturing and engineering skills, with a focus on global skills benchmarking, faculty upskilling and industry-ready training.
The event also witnessed a large reunion of former GTTC students who gathered from across the country and from overseas. V. Sudarshana, President of the GTTC Alumni Association, said the association seeks to foster mentorship, training, internships and employment opportunities, while strengthening innovation, entrepreneurship, industry collaboration and curriculum development. In a special moment, Mohan, the first student admitted to GTTC in 1972, was felicitated.
MLA Priya Krishna, Dr E.V. Ramana Reddy, Chairman, Karnataka Skill Development Authority, Manoj Kumar Meena, Secretary, Skill Development Department, and Siddalingappa B. Pujari, Managing Director, GTTC, were present on the occasion.
