Belagavi South MLA Abhay Patil Inaugurated today Belgavi to Mumbai regular flight service under Udaan Scheme by Spice Jet.
A long pending demand of Belagavians for Belagavi to Mumbai flight has finally been achieved. This 90 seater flight on its first day was boarded by 55 passengers for Mumbai destination, it can be seen that there is an overwhelming demand on its first day itself.
Inauguration was done by performing rituals and by cutting ribbon and the first passengers were handed over the boarding pass.
We are also trying to get Boeing aircraft service from Belgavi to Mumbai in future, will also try to get Belagavi to Delhi flight service, said Abhay Patil.
This flight service will benefit the businessmen of Belagavi to extend their business ventures and tourists to explore Belagavi. PM Narendra Modi’s dream that a lower middle class person wearing Hawai Chappal should travel in an aeroplane plane is coming true, he said.
