ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: “ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ 27ರಂದು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 11.30ಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಜಯಂತಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬಿಡಿಎ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಹ್ಯಾರೀಸ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ 15 ಲಕ್ಷ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಬಡಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ರಸ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ಸಿಎಂ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ನಡೆದ ನಾಡಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆ ಬಳಿಕ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
“ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷದಂತೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ ಕುರಿತಾಗಿ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ರೂಪುರೇಷೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಜತೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಬಾರಿಯಂತೆ ನಗರದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಗೋಪುರಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕ ತಂಡಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿವೆ. ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗೋಪುರಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ ರಾಮಲಿಂಗಾ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ, ಕೆ.ಜೆ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬೈರತಿ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಮಾಗಡಿ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಬಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ, ಹುಲಿಯೂರು ದುರ್ಗ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ರಂಗನಾಥ್ ಅವರು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಚಿವರಾದ ಕೆ.ಹೆಚ್ ಮುನಿಯಪ್ಪ ಅವರಿಂದ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಕೃಷ್ಣಬೈರೇಗೌಡ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕೆಲವು ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
“ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಟೌನ್ ಪ್ಲಾನಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಅನುದಾನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬೇರೊಂದು ದಿನ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ 369 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಲು ಜಿಬಿಎ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ತಲಾ 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಅನುದಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ದಿನಾಂಕವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದ ಸಚಿವರು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ” ಎಂದರು.
“ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಥೀಮ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಇದನ್ನು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ತಯಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕರ ಆಹ್ವಾನದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಬೈರೇಗೌಡರು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರ ಸಂಘ ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಒಂದು ಜಾತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಲ್ಲ. ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಆಸ್ತಿ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮ, ಜಾತಿ, ಸಂಘಟನೆಯವರು ಸೇರಿ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳು:
ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆಚರಣೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಡೆದ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು 10 ಎಕರೆ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡರ ಕೋಟೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ 100 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಟೆಂಡರ್ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಜಿಬಿಎ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿ ರಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ವಿಚಾರಗಳು ಚರ್ಚೆಯಾದವು. ಉಳಿದಂತೆ ಬಂದ ಸಲಹೆಗಳು ಹೀಗಿವೆ..

This year’s Kempegowda Jayanti will be held in Kempegowda Layout: CM D K Shivakumar
Bengaluru, June 16: Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today announced that this year’s Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti would be held at the newly developed Kempegowda Layout on June 27.
Speaking to reporters after a preparatory meeting of the Kempegowda Jayanthi at the Conference Hall in Vidhana Soudha, the CM said, “It has been decided to conduct the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Jayanti at 11.30 am on the 27th of this month in the newly developed Kempegowda Layout. The programme to plant 15 lakh saplings across the city will also be launched. A new road in this layout will also be inaugurated.”
“A preparatory meeting was convened regarding the Kempegowda Jayanti celebration. The contours of the programme have been discussed. As on every occasion, separate teams will arrive from the four Kempegowda towers in the city. Ramalinga Reddy, Krishna Byre Gowda, K.J. George and Byrathi Suresh will be in charge of the teams for each tower in Bengaluru. The Magadi team will be led by local MLA Balakrishna, and the side from Huliyurudurga will be led by Ranganath. The programme at Kempegowda International Airport will be conducted by Minister K.H. Muniyappa. Preparations in some parts of Bengaluru will be made under the leadership of Krishna Byre Gowda,” he said.
“It had been decided to build a Town Planning College in the name of Kempegowda within the campus of Visvesvaraya Technological University. Preparations are underway for the college. The Jayanti will be celebrated within the limits of every Assembly constituency and a grant of Rs 1 lakh is being released. A grant of Rs 1 lakh each will be given through the GBA to conduct this programme in the 369 wards of Bengaluru on another day. The date for the ward level programme will be decided by the Minister for Bengaluru City. Many suggestions came up in this meeting,” he said.
“The theme park at the Devanahalli airport has been completed, and preparations to open it to the public are being made under the leadership of Krishna Byre Gowda. Krishna Byre Gowda has taken up the responsibility of inviting dignitaries, swamijis and leaders to the programme. The organisations and the Vokkaligara Sangha have taken on responsibilities of their own. This programme is not limited to one caste or religion. Kempegowda is an asset of Bengaluru city and of the state. People of all religions, castes and organisations will come together to celebrate the Jayanti,” he stated.
Suggestions at the meeting
Many suggestions were expressed at the preparatory meeting. It was suggested that the Kempegowda burial site should be developed over 10 acres of land. Additionally, a tender worth Rs 100 crore has been issued for the development of Kempegowda’s fort. It was also discussed that a Kempegowda Award selection committee should be formed within the GBA limits. The other suggestions received are as follows:
• Declare Nadaprabhu Kempegowda as the cultural icon of Bengaluru
• Construct Kempegowda District Bhavans in all districts
• Construct an international park and an international community hall in the name of Kempegowda
• A Kempegowda museum
• Cleaning and rejuvenation of Bengaluru’s lakes in memory of Kempegowda
• A workshop to create awareness among the people of Bengaluru about water management, based on the Swaminathan report
• Inclusion of Kempegowda’s life history in textbooks
• Declaration of a government holiday on Kempegowda Jayanti
• Construction of 50–60-foot tall stone statues of Kempegowda in the four directions of the city
• Development of Avathi village in Bengaluru Rural district
