The Belagavi unit of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike will hold a protest against in union minister Suresh Angadi today at Club road for taking oath in English in the parliament. The protest will be at 12 noon, According to Deepak Gudanakatti president of KaRaVe.
In a press release Narayan Gowda, state president of KRV said that his organisation welcomes the move of the MPs from the state who took oath in Kannada. But the organisation denounces Suresh Angadi and Uttara Kannada MP Anant kumar Hegde, who took the oath in English and Sanskrit respectively. It is a treachery to the state and open display of the ego problem of these MPs he said.
Suresh Angadi is always taking the help of the Anti-Kannada forces to get elected and is in a covert friendship with the organisations which wish to join Belagavi with Maharashtra. Even his party BJP has joined hands with MS. These MPs have challenged the self-respect of the Kannadigas e said.
