Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Since the protesters had called-off the Wednesday’s Bharat bandh in Karnataka and appealed for protest and agitation in the state, neither the bandh nor the protest affected in Belagavi.
Road transportation, public movement was normal, commercial establishments, government and private offices, court, industries, vehicle fuel stations, cinema halls, educational institutions functioned as usual.
Though, supported externally for bandh, the workers’ association, auto rickshaw drivers’ and owners’ association, anganwadi and asha workers participated in the rally and in public meeting and condemned the central government alleged anti- workers’ policy.
