SSET’s Shri Siddarameshwar Composite PU college Belagavi in association with office of Deputy Director, Department of PUE, Belagavi has organised one day orientation program on Leading Academia in 21st century – Igniting Leadership Potential at S. G. Balekundri Institute of Technology, Belagavi for enhancing leadership qualities of academic Leaders.
C.Mahalingam a resource person in the programme addressed the gathering on the topic 21st century teacher’s role. The teachers and nurses are the only people trusted more in the society than anybody else. The India is known for its contributions in education from past to till today. You can find an Indian in every four in education excellence. The more number of research citations are published on Indian authors. The days are changing very fast, the adoption of change in every fact of life is need of the hour. Now the education is changing at a faster rate the mode of learning too. Now the institutions also not only depend upon the classroom teaching have to embrace the online courses , many prestigious institutions are also delivering the free on line courses there facilities can be used effectively for overall development.
Prof. S.G. Kodannavar, President, Principal’s Association, P.U. Colleges thanked Sri Siddharameshwar Education Trust for having conducting such orientation program and Prof. G.M. Ganachari Deputy Director, Dept of PUE, Belagavi asked the principals to make best use of such orientation program also appreciated the involvement staff and principal in conducting workshop, in his presidential speech.
The inaugural program started with invocation song rendered by Soumya Sondur. Dr. Siddramappa V Itti, Principal S.G.B.I.T. welcomed the gathering. Dr. Ravi M Yadahalli introduced chief guests. Vote of thanks proposed by A. K. Patil, principal of Shri Siddharama composite PU college Belagavi.
