*ಹಿಂದಿ ಭಾಷೆ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕಿದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ: ಆರ್.ಅಶೋಕ ಟೀಕೆ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ತೃತೀಯ ಭಾಷೆ ಹಿಂದಿಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ನಾಯಕ ಆರ್.ಅಶೋಕ ಟೀಕಿಸಿದರು.
ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ತೃತೀಯ ಭಾಷೆ ಹಿಂದಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಲಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಿಂದಿ ಪಾಠ ಓದಿ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ದಿಢೀರನೆ ಈ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. 1918 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಹಿಂದಿ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲೂ ಅವರೇ ಈ ಸಮಿತಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಇತಿಹಾಸ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಹಿಂದಿ ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಸಂವಹನ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಎಲ್ಲ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಉರ್ದು ಕೂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ್ದಲ್ಲವಾದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಕಲಿಯಬೇಕಿದೆ. ತಮಿಳು, ಮಲಯಾಳಂ, ತೆಲುಗು ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದಿ ಓದಿ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅಂಕ ಗಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರದಿಂದ ನಿರಾಸೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತೋರಿದ ಹೇಡಿತನ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅಪಮಾನ ಎಂದರು.
ನರೇಗಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾತ್ಮ ಗಾಂಧೀಜಿ ಹೆಸರು ತೆಗೆದಾಕ್ಷಣ ಏನೋ ಅನಾಹುತವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಬಾಯಿ ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಯಾರೂ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ದೇಶದ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಜವಹರಲಾಲ್ ನೆಹರು ತ್ರಿಭಾಷಾ ಸೂತ್ರ ತಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಮುಂದೆ ಇಂದಿರಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಒತ್ತು ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದಾಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲ್ಲೂ ಅದನ್ನೇ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಶುದ್ಧ ತಮಿಳು ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ನಮ್ದೂಕೆ ನಿಮ್ದೂಕೆ ಎಂದೇ ಅವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹವರು ಶುದ್ಧ ಕನ್ನಡ ಮಾತಾಡಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಐಎಎಸ್, ಐಪಿಎಸ್ ಓದಿ ಹಿಂದಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ಭಾಷೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಕೇವಲ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಮತ ರಾಜಕಾರಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಹಾಕುವ ಕೆಲಸ. ಮುಂದೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಜಾರಿ ಮಾಡಲಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳಿವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಉಪ ಚುನಾವಣೆ
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲಲಿದೆ. ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಜನರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕುರ್ಚಿ ಭಯ ಇರುವುದರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಖುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಚಿವ ಜಮೀರ್ ಪ್ರಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಕೂಡ ಭಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಶಾಮನೂರು ಶಿವಶಂಕರಪ್ಪ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಯೋಜನೆ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರು.
ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಹಾಗೂ ಕದ್ರಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಕ್ಕರ್ ಬಾಂಬ್ ಸ್ಫೋಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ಲಾನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕ ತಪ್ಪನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಈತನನ್ನು ಹೀ ಈಸ್ ಮೈ ಬ್ರದರ್ ಎಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಮಂಜುನಾಥನನ್ನು ಕಂಡರೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ಗೆ ಆಗಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಮತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇಶದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಹೋದರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಬ್ರದರ್ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಇಂಡಿ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಉಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಮುಂದೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಕ್ತವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಇರಾನ್ನಿಂದ ತೈಲ ಹಡುಗುಗಳು ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಈ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿಯಲಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

Bengaluru, March 30: The Congress government has thrown a stone in the lives of children by scrapping Hindi as the third language. This decision was not taken out of love for Kannada. It is purely politics, said Opposition Leader R. Ashoka.
Speaking at a press conference, he said that the Education Department has suddenly removed Hindi as the third language. This decision has been taken even while students are in the middle of writing their examinations. Lakhs of students have been studying and preparing for Hindi. Taking such a sudden decision now has created a big problem.
In 1918, Mahatma Gandhi was the president of the Hindi Prachar Samiti. He himself started this committee in South India as well. Congress leaders, who are unaware of this history, have suddenly scrapped Hindi. We must be sensitive when it comes to matters concerning children, he said.
English is a language of global communication and is used in all countries. Even Urdu is not originally our language, yet we have to learn it. Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu are all languages of our country. Students who were expecting to score high marks by studying Hindi are now disappointed by the government’s decision. This shows the cowardice of the government and is an insult to Mahatma Gandhi, he added.
When Narendra Modi’s government removed Mahatma Gandhi’s name from the ‘Narega’ scheme, Congress leaders had created a huge uproar saying something terrible had happened. But now, no one is speaking up. The country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had brought the Three-Language Formula. Later, Indira Gandhi gave it even more importance. They are saying that whatever is done in Tamil Nadu, we will implement the same here. In Tamil Nadu, Muslims speak pure Tamil, and in Kerala, Muslims speak pure Malayalam. But in Karnataka, Muslims do not speak pure Kannada. They always say “our people” and “your people”. The Congress government has no intention of making such people speak pure Kannada, he said.
If Kannada children study IAS and IPS and go to Hindi-speaking states, what language will they speak there? This decision has been taken only out of anger against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is nothing but vote-bank politics and an act of throwing stones in the lives of children. In the future, the BJP will implement the National Education Policy, which includes options for languages, he said.
By-elections
BJP will win the Davanagere and Bagalkot by-elections. In Davanagere, Muslims are against Congress. In Bagalkot also, people are against Congress. Because Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is scared of losing his chair, he is personally going for campaigning. Minister Zameer is not participating in the campaigning. Even D.K. Shivakumar is living in fear, he said.
