*ಖೇಲೋ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಯೂತ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ 2025ಕ್ಕೆ ಸುನಿಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಲ್ಕರೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : 2025 ರ ಮೇ 5 ರಿಂದ 9 ರವರೆಗೆ ಬಿಹಾರದ ಗಯಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಖೇಲೋ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಯೂತ್ ಗೇಮ್ಸ್ 2025 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸಲು ಸುನಿಧಿ ಹಲ್ಕರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಹಲ್ಕರೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಸ್ವಿಮ್ಮರ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ವೇರಿಯಸ್ ಸ್ವಿಮ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ಈಜುಗಾರರಾದ ಸುನಿಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಶಾಲಾ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ತಂಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದರು.
ರವೀಂದ್ರನಾಥ ಟ್ಯಾಗೋರ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಸುನಿಧಿ ಸುಹಾಸ್ ಹಲ್ಕರೆ 100 ಮೀ ಮತ್ತು 200 ಮೀ ಬ್ಯಾಕ್‌ಸ್ಟ್ರೋಕ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿ ಸುಹಾಸ್ ಹಲ್ಕರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ್ ಪ್ರಬೋಧನ್ ಮಂದಿರ ಐಸಿಎಸ್‌ಇ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆ 200 ಮೀ ಮತ್ತು 400 ಮೀ ಫ್ರೀಸ್ಟೈಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಎಲ್‌ಇಯ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಜೆಎನ್‌ಎಂಸಿ ಈಜುಕೊಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ದರ್ಜೆಯ, ಒಲಿಂಪಿಕ್ ಗಾತ್ರದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಇದ್ದು, ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕಲಘಟಗಿ, ಅಕ್ಷಯ್ ಶೇರೆಗರ್, ಅಜಿಂಕ್ಯ ಮೆಂಡ್ಕೆ, ನಿತೀಶ್ ಕುಡುಚ್ಕರ್, ಗೋವರ್ಧನ್ ಕಾಕತ್ಕರ್, ಇಮ್ರಾನ್ ಉಚಗಾಂವ್ಕರ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿನಾಯಕ್ ಅಂಬೇವಾಡಿಕರ್ ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

*Sunidhi & Samruddhi Halkare Selected for KHELO INDIA Youth Games 2025!*
We are proud to announce that Sunidhi Halkare and Samruddhi Halkare have been selected to represent Karnataka in the KHELO INDIA Youth Games 2025, to be held in Gaya, Bihar, from 5th to 9th May 2025.
Sunidhi and Samruddhi, talented swimmers from Swimmers Club Belgaum and Aquarius Swim Club Belgaum, earned their place in the state team with their outstanding performances at the recently concluded National School Games.
Sunidhi Suhas Halkare a student of Rabindranath Tagore PU College will compete in the 100m and 200m Backstroke events, while Samruddhi Suhas Halkare Dnyan Prabodhan Mandir ICSE High School will participate in the 200m and 400m Freestyle.
Both the sisters train at the KLE’s Suvarna JNMC Swimming Pool in Belagavi — a world-class, Olympic-sized facility. They receive expert coaching and guidance from a dedicated team including Umesh Kalghatgi, Akshay Sheregar, Ajinkya Mendke, Nitish Kuduchkar, Govardhan Kakatkar, Imran Uchgaonkar, and Vinayak Ambewadikar.
