Pragativahini News, Belagavi – On the occasion of Teachers Day, KLE Nursing NRI Alumni organized a virtual meet.
The luminaries were the former principals of KLES Institute of Nursing Sciences, Belagavi, Mr. Suresh Saler, Prof. Usha Joshi and Dr. Ramachandra Hooli. The event was organized by Mr. Rajeev Metri from UK, Mr. Ishwar Shegunashi from Ireland and Mr. Ganpat Patil from New Zealand.
The session was presided by Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman KLE Society. Col.A.K.Singh, former director, KLES Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & MRC also graced the occasion. More than 100 NRI Alumni and Indian Alumni attended the virtual teachers day celebrations.
Everyone thanked KLE Society and Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Former principals and teachers for mentoring them and making them what they are today.
They shared their experiences of growing up in the college campus and also requested to open more nursing colleges in remote areas of Northern Karnataka.
The Alumni were from US, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Ethiopia New Zealand and also from various states of India. The virtual celebration was viewed by more than 2000 people across the globe.
