Technical approval granted to build dwellings for house-less people

The technical sanction has been granted to build 3800 houses for the people who have no dwellings in the Belagavi south assembly constituency. Abhay Patil, MLA had demanded for 5000 houses few months ago.
Abhay Patil met Anbukumar, MD of the Stat Housing Corporation and held discussion in this regard on Thursday.
Total 2000 houses will be built at Shahapur, Vadagaovi, Anagol area in G+2 and G+3 models and the technical approval is awaited. In second stage total 1800 houses will be built and the approval is granted for this, Abhay Patil said.
Anbu kumar will visit Belagavi on July 5, and will hold discussion with the unorganised sector workers who are eligible under the scheme. The officials of BUDA, CMC and revenue department too will be present in the meeting Abhay Patil said.
