The Belagavi district 13th Kannada Sahitya Sammelana (Kannada literary meet) will be held at Gokak on June 28 and 29 said Mangala Metagud (district President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Belagavi.
Addressing the media here she said that the programme will be held in the campus of KLE Society’s Sri M B Munavalli English medium school. Writer Dr. Gurudevi Huleppanavarmath will preside over the4 function.
The national flag will be hoisted by freedom fighter Gurulingappa Gunaki and Kannada flag will be hoisted by S N Gudaganavar retired Education officer.
Lakhan Jarakiholi will inaugurate the procession of the President of the function. Later Satish Jarakiholi Forest minister will inaugurate function. Panchama Shri Shivalingeshwar Mahaswami Jagadguru of Nidasosi Duaradundeshwarwill be present. Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarakiholi will preside over the function.
Two days’ different dialogues, sessions and discussion will be held and many noted writers, poets will participate in the two-day function Mangala said.
