Pragativahini News, Bengaluru – Covid -19 State War Room In-charge Munish Moudgil Released a press note regarding rules and regulations of Inter State entrance.
The details are as follows:
1. e Pass from Sevasindhu (https://sevasindhu.karnataka.
2. Following category of OTHER STATE people only can enter and for compelling reasons
(i) death in family
(ii) terminally ill needing medical care
(iii) pregnant women or elderly
(iv) laid off migrant workers
(v) students (educational inst closed)
(vi) stranded pilgrims/tourists
(vii) foreign returnees landing outside Karnataka
3. Additionally, following can enter Karnataka
(i) Businessmen for urgent work only for specific days of work.
(ii) Medical doctors and related staff as per Govt of India order in this regard.
(iii) International Arrivals by air or sea as per Govt instructions in this regard
(iv) Domestic air and rail passengers as per instructions of government in this regard.
4. QUARANTINE Rules for Asymptomatic Persons:
(i) All to undergo 14 days mandatory quarantine. The special provisions and exceptions given below.
(ii) Businessmen on urgent work trip to stay in own hotel & return after work is over; but they must carry ICMR TEST Negative Certificate not older than 2-days before arrival date. If they don’t have Negative Certificate then quarantine until test is done and it’s negative.
(ii) Out of 14 days, compulsory 7 day Institutional Quarantine (IQ) of persons coming from HIGH RISK states (notified time to time). Rest 7 days at Home Quarantine (HQ) provided they test negative at IQ on 5-7th day
(iii) International Arrivals all compulsory IQ for 14 days.
(iv) Other inter state arrivals from Non-High Risk States permitted 14 days’ home quarantine. Concerned DCs/BBMP to decide.
(v) Four categories allowed Home Quarantine right after negative test (a) Pregnant women (b) children below 10 years (c) person > 80 years (d) Terminally ill patients.
5. Quarantine Rules for Symptomatic Persons:
(i) Quarantine at nearest District Covid Health Centre or Hospital for 14 days and test at 5-7th day and again 12-14th day.
(ii) if result is Positive then isolate and treat as per protocol. Else if test negative continue quarantine in DCHC until 14 days.
6. Testing Protocol:
(i) In general test of all quarantined persons on 5-7th day and again 12-14th day.
(ii) For special 4 category of persons mentioned at 4(v), immediate test.
(iii) For businessmen on urgent work visit, immediate test if he’s not carrying ICMR Negative Test Certificate.
7. Arrivals into Karnataka
(i) Inter State Returnees – Upon arrival report at Border Check Post and then Distirct Receiving Center. Follow all protocol they prescribe.
(ii) Arrivals by Rail: Follow all protocol that railway reception team of Govt of Karanataka prescribes
(iii) Arrival by Air or Sea: Follow all instructions and protocols of Airport/Sea Reception Team of Govt of Karanataka
