Pragativahini News, Belagavi : A woman identified herself as an employee in Indian Army, purchased vegetable and instead paying the bill took the bank account number of the vendor and hacked the account by withdrawing Rs 8750 from the account.
Deepak Londe having a vegetable shop at Vishveshwaraiah nagar near State Bank of India was the person cheated by the woman. A woman seen wealthy purchased vegetable around Rs 200 and told Londe of transferring money into his bank account through online banking system as she couldn’t brought the cash. Believing, Londe gave the account number and OTP. However, just in a few minutes he got bank transaction message to his cellphone stating about money withdrawal.
