Renavva Ramanna Chinta (50) a resident of Kittur village near Sureban in Ramadurga taluk was washed away in a flash flood on Thursday evening. She had gone to bring the fire wood and the heavy rain lashed the area at that time. While crossing the Basavanakatti stream there was a flash flood in the stream and she was washed away it is said.
