Yet Another Blunder from Dist Admn, 21 Tested Positives Among Discharges on Saturday

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : The Belagavi District Administration seemed proving incapable in handling the COVID-19 situation as for the third time it found freed the quarantined before arrival of their test report as 21 people it discharged from quarantine centres from Hukkeri on Saturday have been tested positives of the virus.

It was the second such a fault from the Hukkeri Taluk Administration as three people from its two taluk whom it freed after completion of quarantine term had tested positive, now 21 such released people have been tested infected from the same taluk.
12 quarantined were discharged from Yamakanamaradi, 3 from Kot, 2 each from Modaga, Dundagatti  and Managutti and Bidrewatti who were discharged from quarantine centres on last Saturday have been tested infected whom the administration traced and admitted at the COVID-19 ward at the district hospital.
 Hundreds of people who are the daily wage labourers from Hukkeri taluk been to Maharashtra to work and returned after they were allowed to go to their places after the relaxation in the lockdown was announced. They were in quarantined centres for seven days and discharged on completion of the term on Saturday. However, their medical test report which submitted to the district administration stated were positive of the virus.
Stunned with the mistake done, the taluk administration has traced the positives, brought back and shifted to the COVID-19 ward.
