Sixteen workers were killed in a compound wall collapse on Friday night after incessant rain lashed Pune city.
The incident reported from the Kondwa area in outskirt of the Pune city. The compound wall of a housing society was collapsed and fell on the huts of the labourers who had been migrated from North India. It is not clear how many have died. It is suspected that many more might have caught under the debris. Many car and auto-rickshaws too have been destroyed in the wall collapse.
