Yeddyurappa and other BJP leaders taken into the custody by the police

State BJP leaders including its president Yeddyurappa who were proceeding towards the Chief Minister’s office to lay seize to it, have been taken into the custody by the police on Sunday.
The BJP leaders who held protest whole night on Saturday were proceeding towards the CM’s office from Mourya Circle. Police stopped the protestors near Shivanand circle by placing the barricades on the road. But the protesters tried go towards the CM’s house by breaking the police cordon. Police took them into the custody and moved away.
The state BJP is holding the protest over the issues like the alleged failure of state government to tackle the draught situation in the state and selling the land to Jindal in Bellary district.
Meanwhile Chief Minister Kumaraswamy had written a letter to Yeddyurappa and had stated that he is ready to discuss the issue with the opposition. The letter was handed over to Yeddyurappa personally by the minister Venkatarao Nadagouda who had arrived at the place where the protest was being held by BJP
