Pragativahini News, Belagavi –The Care for You trust organized the Dandia and Garba Dance Workshop for underprivileged children.
Aarathi Chindak and Radhika Chindak trained the children in this workshop held at Gangamma Chikkumbi Orphanage in the wake of Navratri. About 70 children participated in the workshop.
Sheetal Bhandari, Dr. Deepali Patil, Dr. Rajani Mishra, Gayatri Raibagi and Rohini Bembalagi of Care for You Organization were present.
CARE FOR YOU is a registered charitable trust. Aim on alleviating poverty and social exclusion. A group of 15 to 20 enthusiastic house wives are involved in this mission and striving hard to bring smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.Trust focus on Organizing trips for the aged in assisted living homes, conducting Personality development workshops for boys in Observation Homes and various fun and entertaining activities like movie screening and fun trips. Orphan girls are also trained in skill-based activities like rakhi making.
Major focus is the Maitree project that pairs an orphan child with a lady mentor who is their go to person for all physiological and psychological limitations. Maitree is a mentorship programme which helps nurture young girls live up to their potential by being their mainstay and support.
