*ಇಂದಿನ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ದೇಶದ ಇತಿಹಾಸವೇ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ: ಶೆಫಾಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: KLE ಸ್ವಶಕ್ತಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಘಟಕದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ KLE ಕನ್ವೆನ್ಷನ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
“Give to Gain” ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯದಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಶಕ್ತೀಕರಣ, ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲವು ಸಮಗ್ರ ಸಮಾಜವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತ ಲೇಖಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಕಾಲಮ್ನಿಸ್ಟ್ ಶೆಫಾಲಿ ವೈದ್ಯ ಅವರು ಮನೋಜ್ಞ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಭಾರತದ ರಾಣಿಯರ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಅವರ ಧೈರ್ಯ, ನಾಯಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಭಾರತದ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿನ ಈ ಮಹಾನ್ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಕಥೆಗಳು ಇಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಾಸಕ್ತಿಯುತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಧುನಿಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ, ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ಣ ನಾಯಕತ್ವದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಂದುವರಿಯಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಡಚಣೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಸದಾ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೋರಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದರು.
ಇವು ಕೇವಲ ಇತಿಹಾಸದ ಕಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಇಂದಿನ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾಯಕತ್ವ, ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯುತ ಆದರ್ಶಗಳಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಡಾ.ಪ್ರೀತಿ ದೊಡವಾಡ, ಡಾ.ನೇಹಾ ದಡೇದ, ಆಶಾ ಕೋರೆ, ಡಾ.ಅಲ್ಕಾ ಕಾಳೆ, ಸರ್ವಮಂಗಲ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 1200ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿಯರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
International Women’s Day Celebration – “Give to Gain”
The International Women’s Day celebration for KLE Swashakti Empowement cell for women , was held on 10 March at the KLE Convention Centre ,Belagavi with great enthusiasm and inspiration. The event was organized around the theme “Give to Gain,” emphasizing the idea that empowerment, knowledge, and support shared among women ultimately strengthen society as a whole.
The highlight of the program was an enlightening talk by the Chief Guest, Ms. Shefali Vaidya, an award-winning author and noted newspaper columnist. In her address, she spoke about the Queens of India, highlighting their courage, leadership, and visionary thinking. She explained how the stories of these remarkable women from Indian history continue to hold deep relevance in the present world, inspiring modern women to lead with strength, dignity, and purpose. They have always fought against all odds.
Ms. Vaidya emphasized that the legacy of these queens goes beyond history—they serve as powerful role models for leadership, resilience, and self-belief in contemporary society. Her engaging narration connected historical examples with the challenges and opportunities faced by women today.
Dr. Preeti Dodawada, Dr. Neha Dadeda, Asha Kore, Dr. Alka Kale, Sarvamangala and others were present.
The event witnessed active participation from1200 above female faculty members.
