ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಆರ್.ಎಲ್.ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನದ್ದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಕಾನೂನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಡಿಪಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉಚ್ಛ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಎಂ.ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ನಗರದ ಕೆಎಲ್ ಎಸ್ ರಾಜಾ ಲಖಮಗೌಡ ಕಾನೂನು ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ 16 ನೇ ಎಂ.ಕೆ.ನಂಬಿಯಾರ್ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿರದೆ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಜೀವನಕ್ಕೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮಹತ್ವದಾಗಿದೆ. ವಾದವು ಚಿಕ್ಕದಾಗಿರಬೇಕು, ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಕೆಲವೇ ಪದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ಶಿಷ್ಟಾಚಾರಗಳು, ಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಗೌರವವೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎಸ್.ವಿ.ಗಣಾಚಾರಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಪಠ್ಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕವು ನಮಗೆ ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಕಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದರೆ, ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಲು ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ, ವಕಾಲತ್ತು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಎಸ್. ಸಾವ್ಕರ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದ ಮಂಡನೆ ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವುದು, ಜತೆಗೆ ಇಂಟರ್ನ್ಶಿಪ್ ಕಾನೂನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೀರ್ಘಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಓದಲು, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದ ವಿಚಾರಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಲು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್. ಮುತಾಲಿಕ್ ಅವರು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಅಶ್ವಿನಿ ಪರಬ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ನಿಯಮದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ರೂ.50,000 ನಗದು ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರೋಫಿ, ರನ್ನರ್ ಅಪ್ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಟ್ರೋಫಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ.30,000 ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನ, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಪುರುಷ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗೆ ರೂ. 15,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಗದು, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗೆ ರೂ.15,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಗದು, ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಮಾರಕ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಅಥವಾ ರೂ.15,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಗದು, ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಂಶೋಧಕರಿಗೆ ರೂ.10,000 ರೂಪಾಯಿ ನಗದು ಮತ್ತು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗೆ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಎನ್ ಪೋತದಾರ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಬೆಸ್ಟ್ ಮೂಟರ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಗೆ ರೂ. 6,050 ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮೂಟ್ ಕೋರ್ಟ್ ವಿಭಾಗ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಕೆಎಲ್ಎಸ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ ಚೇರ್ಮನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ಎ.ಕೆ.ಟಗಾರೆ, ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ವಿ.ಎಂ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ, ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಡಾ. ಎ.ಎಚ್.ಹವಾಲ್ದಾರ್, ಅಣಕು ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಸುನಿಧಿ ಜೋಶಿ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ತನ್ಮಯಿ ಸರಾಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ಚಂದ್ರಲೇಖಾ ಪಾಟೀಲ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
Belagavi: Inauguration of the 16th M.K Nambyar Memorial National Level moot court competition was held on Friday, 13 March 2026. Hon’ble Ms Justice Jyoti M was the chief guest for the function, addressing students, she briefed them about the importance of moot court competition for students. Mooting is more than just an academic activity; it forms the foundation for a clinical legal education. The moot court is where the theory encounters practice. Further, she advised, let the argument be short, comprehensive, and much in a few words and have the ability to articulate complex issues. Courtroom etiquette, respect for the bench is equally important, she said!
Advocate and KLS society secretary S.V. Ganachari was guest of Honor for the function speaking to students he said moot court plays a very important role in legal education because text book teaches us only theoretical part moot court gives students a platform to practice the practical side of legal education, it helps students develop research, advocacy, public speaking skills, he appreciated all the participants for being part of this moot court competition on this occasion
Advocate and President of KLS Society, Pradeep S Sawkar, was the president for the function. In his presidential remarks, moot court competition is very important in the career of a student. Participating in the moot court competition and internship will help in long term for law students, it will hold students in good state, it instinct’s students to read, to do research work, etc., and advises students to attend court hearings, he said
Advocate and chairman of the governing council of the college, R.S Mutalik, welcomed the gathering and briefed them about the legacy of the college and the achievements of college alumni. Professor Ashwini Parab, the moot court coordinator, briefed about the rules and regulations of the moot court competition. The winners will get 50,000 cash price plus trophy, the runners up will get trophy plus 30,000 cash prize, best mooter male will get cash price of rupees 15,000, best mooter female will get cash prize of rupees 15,000, best memorial will get a cash prize or 15,000, and best researcher will get a cash prize of 10000, and Ashok N Podhar cash prize of 6,050 will be given to the best mooter she briefed
The function was organised by the moot court Society of the college. KLS Society President, Pradeep S. Sawkar, Chairman A. K. Tagare, Secretary V. M. Deshpande and S. V. Ganachari, management members, chairman of the governing council of the college, R.S Mutalik, principal Dr A. H. Hawaldar, moot court coordinator Prof Ashwini Parabh, the student moot court coordinator Sunidhi Joshi, general secretary of the college Tanmaye Sharaff, and ladies representative Chandralekha Patil, all staff and students were present for the function.
