*ನರೇಂದ್ರ 400 ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಪರಿವರ್ತಕಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಒತ್ತಡ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ: ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಗರಿಷ್ಠ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ, ಮಳೆ ಕೊರತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೃಷಿ ಪಂಪ್ಸೆಟ್ಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬಳಕೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯಿಂದ ನರೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ 400 ಕೆ.ವಿ. ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪರಿವರ್ತಕಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಒತ್ತಡ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ 220 ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಪೈಕಿ 8 ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ 400 ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪವರ್ ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್ಫಾರ್ಮರ್ಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತಿವೆ.
ಮಳೆ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿರುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಕೃಷಿ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಲೋಡ್ನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 4ರವರೆಗಿನ ಸೌರ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆಯ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ 400 ಕೆ.ವಿ. ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ICTಗಳ (Inter Connecting Transformers) ಮೇಲೆ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ತೀವ್ರ ಒತ್ತಡ ಉಂಟಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಉಪಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ 500 MVA ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಪವರ್ ಟ್ರಾನ್ಸ್ಫಾರ್ಮರ್ ಅಳವಡಿಸುವ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಮಂಜೂರಾಗಿ, ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಒತ್ತಡವನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿತ ಗುರಿಗಿಂತ ಬಹಳ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿಯೇ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಂಡು, ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ತ್ವರಿತಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಉದ್ಯಮಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯೋದ್ಯಮ ಸಂಘದ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ನಾಗರಮುನೋಳಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದರಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಒತ್ತಡ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Severe Pressure on Power Transformers at Narendra 400 kV Substation
Demand to Expedite Installation of Third 500 MVA Transformer
Belagavi: The power transformers at the 400 kV Narendra substation are facing severe loading pressure due to rising peak power demand, deficient rainfall and changes in the timing of agricultural power consumption in North Karnataka.
The increasing demand from eight major 220 kV substations in North Karnataka has resulted in higher loading on the power transformers at the Narendra 400 kV substation. The situation has been further aggravated by the shifting of agricultural load to solar hours between 9 am and 4 pm, leading to severe overloading of the Inter-Connecting Transformers (ICTs) at the Narendra substation.
Against this backdrop, the work of installing a third 500 MVA power transformer at the Narendra substation has already been awarded to a contractor. However, considering the increasing pressure on the power transmission system, there is an urgent need to complete the project well ahead of the scheduled target.
Industrialist and former President of the Belagavi Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Prabhakar Nagaramunoli, has urged the concerned authorities to intervene and take all necessary measures to expedite the project on a top-priority basis.
Early completion of the project will help reduce the stress on the power transmission network in North Karnataka and ensure reliable supply while effectively meeting the region’s growing power demand in the coming years, he said.
