Dr. K. Govindaraj Meets Indian Badminton Team at Asian Games

Nagoya, Japan: Karnataka Olympic Association President, FIBA Asia President and Member of the Legislative Council Dr. K. Govindaraj met the Indian badminton team on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 20th Asian Games being held in Nagoya, Japan.
During the interaction, Dr. Govindaraj conveyed his best wishes to the Indian badminton contingent and encouraged the players to give their best at the prestigious continental sporting event.
He personally met and extended his greetings to star Indian shuttlers P. V. Sindhu, Chirag Shetty, Satwik Reddy, Lakshya Sen and Ayush Shetty. He interacted with the players and enquired about their preparations and participation in the Asian Games.
Dr. Govindaraj appreciated the dedication, discipline and hard work of the Indian badminton players and wished them success in their respective events. He expressed confidence that the Indian contingent would put up a strong performance and bring laurels to the country.
The interaction also highlighted the growing prominence of Indian badminton on the international stage and the importance of continued encouragement and support for athletes representing the nation at major sporting events.
