MLA Laxmi Serves North Indian Food to Misrouted People 

Pragativahini News, Belagavi  : A team of about 50 people including women and children misrouted and landed at Belagavi on Wednesday morning instead at their different states in north India.

After government allowed them to go back to their places,  alike thousands about 50 people from Maharashtra,  Bihar,  Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan boarded a KSRTC bus at Bengaluru on Tuesday night to go back to their places. Instead boarding-in the buses heading toward their places they got into the empty bus and travelled to Belagavi and morning after landing down they came to know they were in other place.

 Their mistake was they didn’t asked the concern authority or the driver about where the bus goes but boarded-in. As the bus service was free of fare it doesn’t have conductor.

Morning they came to know they were in Belagavi instead at their places. The City Corporation officials who received them at the central bus stand briefed them the matter and shifted to Murarji Desai Residential School at Halabhavi.

Soon after getting the matter,  Belagavi Rural Congress MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar rushed and arranged the requirements.  She provided milk, bread, biscuit, tooth brush, paste and other necessary things. She assured if being with them and need not to be worried. She also arranged north Indian food to them.

City Corporation Commissioner KH Jagadish said all have been Quarantined at Halabhavi where possible care would be taken and after completion of a short quarantine term would be send to their places.
