Achedin for Belagavi Grameen, 2 Bridge-cum-Barrage to be Constructed Near Uchagoan 

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Two Bridge-cum-Barrages to be constructed across Markandeya river near Uchagoan in Belagavi Rural Assembly Constituency in an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore. Thanks to the special efforts of Congress MLA Laxmi Hebbalkar to get sanctioned the project.

In her absence, local panchayat representatives conducted bhoomi pooja to declare on to the work. Irrigation department will construct the project.

The project will connect between Konewadi and Turamuri villages. Hundreds of hectors of agriculture land in Belagavi West region would get water throughout the year once the project is completed. Apart from officials from Irrigation department, Congress leaders former BUDA chief Yuvaraj Kadam, Mrinal Hebbalkar were present for the अर्थ breaking ceremony.
