*ಜಿಐಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ*

ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ : ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಕೆಎಲ್‌ಎಸ್ ಗೋಗಟೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮತ್ತು ಐಸಿಎಂಆರ್-ಎನ್‌ಐಟಿಎಂ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ, “ಅಡ್ವಾನ್ಸ್ಡ್ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟ್ರುಮೆಂಟೇಶನ್” ವಿಷಯದ ಐದು ದಿನಗಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24, 2026 ರಂದು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 24ರಿಂದ 28ರವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು, ಆಧುನಿಕ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಣಾ ಸಾಧನಗಳ ಅರಿವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಅಂತರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಐಐಟಿ ಧಾರವಾಡದ ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ನಿಲ್ಕಮಲ್ ಮಹಾಂತಾ ಅವರು ಆಧುನಿಕ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನಗಳ ಪಾತ್ರದ ಕುರಿತು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಡಾ. ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಬೆಳಗಾಂವ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿ, ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಹಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡು, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಎಂ. ಎಸ್. ಪಾಟೀಲ ಅವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಡಾ. ಪಿ. ಎಸ್. ಕೋಜಲಗಿ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಾಸ್ ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟ್ರೋಮೆಟ್ರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯು.ವಿ-ವಿಸಿಬಲ್ ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟ್ರೋಫೋಟೊಮೆಟ್ರಿ ಕುರಿತ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಅಧಿವೇಶನಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ತರಬೇತಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology Inaugurated Five-Days Capacity Building Programme on “Advanced Instrumentation”,

The Capacity Building Programme on “Advanced Instrumentation” was inaugurated at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology on 24^th February, 2026, organized in association with Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad and ICMR-NITM Belagavi.

The five-day programme (February 24^th – 28^th, 2026) aims to enhance participants’ understanding of advanced analytical instruments and bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical research applications.

The inaugural ceremony commenced with an invocation, followed by a welcome address by Principal Dr. M. S. Patil. The programme overview was presented by Dr. P. S. Koujalagi, HOD Chemistry outlining the objectives and significance of the initiative.

Dr. Nilkamal Mahanta, Head of the Department of Chemistry, IIT Dharwad, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and delivered an insightful address on the role of advanced instrumentation in modern scientific research.

Dr. Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman of the Governing Council, KLS GIT, presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address. He emphasized the importance of capacity building, research collaboration, and institutional growth. He also felicitated the Chief Guest during the ceremony.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by technical sessions on Mass Spectrometry and UV-Visible Spectrophotometry, along with hands-on training for participants.
