CM told Katti of Indulging him in Cabinet, But Fingers toward HC on Making his Brother MP
Pragativahini News, Bengaluru : CM Yeddyurappa who was seemed disturbed much with recent developments in his party over Katti and group, said to be told MLA Umesh Katti of including him his cabinet, however, not given any assurance about making his brother, former MP Ramesh Katti as Rajya Sabha member in place of present member Prabhakar Kore.
Katti who met the chief minister at his residence Carvery at Bengaluru on Wednesday morning explained him the reason behind posting dinner at his residence at Bengaluru for the party MLAs in which 20-25 were attended, what were discussed and what decision was taken. He also said to be told the CM that there was no intention of disestablishing the government or removing him from the post. He also told the opinion of each and every MLAs about the BJP government in the state.
In reply, the CM cleared Katti who is trying to make his brother Ramesh as Rajya Sabha member that he can make him a minister in the government, but giving s ticket to Rajya Sabha seat was not in his hands and the High Command would take decision over it.
It may be recalled that during last general election to Lok Sabha, Ramesh wanted to contest from Chikkodi constituency which was avoided and fielded Annasaheb Jolle, the former and his brother Umesh Katti were assured of making former as Rajya Sabha member in place of Prabhakar Kore and also indulging the senior Katti into the state cabinet.
The Rajya Sabha membership of Kore who is the chairman of KLES Society is getting expired on June 25 and election scheduled on June 20.
