Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Yet another blunder mistake repeated from the district administration in connection to handling the COVID cases in the district as 16 people from a small village in Belagavi district has turned into “Corona Hotspot”.
The administration has discharged hundreds of people for completion of their 14-day quarantine term at Daddi village in Hukkeri taluk before arrival of their medical test report. The test report which reached last week days stated 16 among the discharged were infected.
The administration back to the mission traced the infected and shifted to the COVID wards at the district hospital. However, by the time the discharged infected met hundreds of people, visited several places, attended family and friends functions who also could be quarantined.
Entire village, located just 3km to Maharashtra border has been seal downed. About a thousand people from the village settled in Maharashtra with jobs are returning for loosing the jobs who are being quarantined and discharging after completion of COVID term 14 days.
The government, according to the administration, discharge people after completion of the term even though not got the medical test report.
