*ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕೃಷಿ -ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಎಂಬಿಐಟಿ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆ*
ಪ್ರಗತಿವಾಹಿನಿ ಸುದ್ದಿ, ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ: ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಕೃಷಿ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜರುಗಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಕೃಷಿ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಅನುವರ್ತಿಕ್ ಮಿರ್ಜಿ ಭರತೇಶ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ ಟೆಕ್ನಾಲಜಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ತಂಡ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 140 ತಂಡ ಗಳು ಈ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು .
ಎಎಂಬಿಐಟಿ ತಂಡವು “ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತ ಬೆಳೆ ರಕ್ಷಕ” ಎಂಬ ನೂತನ್ ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ರೈತರು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ನೈಜ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಕೃಷಿ ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವತ್ತ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಗಮನಹರಿಸಿತು. ವಿಜೇತ ತಂಡವನ್ನು ವಿಟಿಯು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಉಪಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ. ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಅವರು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ರೂ. 15,000 ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಭರತೇಶ್ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಈ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಗೆಲುವು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ತಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಧಾರವಾಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಹ್ಯಾಕಥಾನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ “ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತ ಬೆಳೆ ರಕ್ಷಕ” ಯೋಜನೆಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿಯ ಎಎಂಬಿಐಟಿಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಟಿಯು ಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ. ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಂಕರ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಹುಮಾನ ಮತ್ತು 15,000 ರೂ. ನಗದು ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
AMBIT First-Year Engineering Students Clinch Top Honors at National Level Agri-Hackathon
BELAGAVI: In a significant achievement for the region, a team of first-year engineering students from the Anuvartik Mirji Bharatesh Institute of Technology (AMBIT), Belagavi, has secured the First Prize at a prestigious National Level Hackathon.
The event, held from December 5 to 6, 2025, was organized by the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, in association with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The competition witnessed fierce participation from over 140 institutes across Karnataka, bringing together some of the brightest technical minds to solve pressing issues.
The AMBIT team impressed the judges with their project titled “Automatic Crop Protector.” The project focused on addressing real-world agricultural challenges faced by farmers. The jury selected the project for the top honor, citing its practical application, the winning team was honored by Dr. Vidyashankar, the Honorable Vice Chancellor of VTU Belagavi. He presented the students with the award certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 15,000. Dr. Vidyashankar commended the students for bridging the gap between engineering and agriculture.
The management, Principal, and staff of AMBIT have congratulated the students on this outstanding accomplishment, noting that this victory brings pride to the institution and the city of Belagavi.
