H. K. Patil, Chairman of KPCC campaign committee carried out a whirlwind tour in Belagavi parliamentary constituency campaigned for the Congress candidate.
Addressed the public meetings at Hooli, Savadatti, Yaragatti and other places. Patil launched a scathing attack against Union government. He alleged that BJP is violating the constitution and misusing it. UP CM Yogi Adityanath had called the Indian army as Modi’s army. They are trying to crate lawlessness in the county. Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh proudly states that he is a BJP activist and has insulted his post by asking p to vote for BJP, Patil alleged.
Patil said that the NITI Ayog has indulged in the politics by commenting on the Congress manifesto. Prime minister is trying to attract the youths by wearing military dress. BJP had said that it would build Rama Mandir. Who opposed to build the temple there? Villagers have built two temples in their village but BJP has failed to build one temple in Ayodhya he said.
Congress candidate Dr. V S Sadhunavar requested the people to support him for the overall development of Belagavi. He promised that the development of 25 years would be done in five years. He requested the people not to be carried away by the propaganda of BJP as misleading the people has become the agenda of BJP.
Savadatti Congress leaders Vishwas Vaidya, Panchanagowdra Dyamanagoudra, district Congress president Vinay Navalagatti and other seniorleaders of Congress were present.
