No Pro-Maharashtrians “Black Day” Observation on Karnataka Rajyosthava Day from This Year, If Govt Follows SBWPC’ Recommendations 

Pragativahini News, Belagavi : Pro-Maharashtrians who suffered a major blowups over getting down Bhaghawa flag atop the main administrative office of the old City Corporation office and removal of controversial “Yellur-Maharashtra Rajya” name board constructed illegally at the entrance of Yellur village in Belagavi taluk would loose it’s another once-in-a- year programme observing ‘Black Day’ on Karnataka Rajyosthava Day on Nov 1, if government acted accordingly to the recommendations of Karnataka Border and Water Protection Commission.

Commission Chairman Justice KL Manjunath told news persons that the Commission has received a few complaints from Kannada organisations to prevent Pro-Maharashtrians in Karnataka from observing ‘Black Day’ on the establishment day of the state. The Commission will recommend the same to the government soon, he added.
He said whoever born in the respective state in 1956 the year states in the nations were reformed are the citizens of the respective states. Shouting slogans, publishing readable texts, visuals, against the respective state would be considered as Anti-National against whom cases like Anti-National, Betrayal could be filed.
Justice Manjunath said the Commission in its report would recommend the state government yo file such cases against those people and organisations to avoid trouble to the celebrations.
