Pragativahini News, Belagavi : A weaver from Vadagavi unable to run his family for no income ended life by hanging at his house, three days ago. The incident came to light on Friday.
Sujit Upari, 35, was the deceased who ended life by hanging to the roof at his house at Laxmi galli.
Sujit was a weaver-labour at one of the power looms in his locality and was work less after lockdown was announced. He managed till date his family by borrowing loan from his friends, known people and as couldn’t found other way to generate money to feed his family he allegedly took the extreme step.
Four days ago he had sent his wife to her parents place with his daughter and a son and might have ended his life three days ago. Neighbours smelled bad from the house informed police who broke open the door found Sujit dead hanging.
A case has been registered with Shahapur police.
