Pragativahini News, Bengaluru : The District Administration which was facing humiliation after the District In-charge Minister Jagadish Shettar declared in Dharwad on Friday afternoon that three from Belagavi who had participated in religious meetings at Nizamuddin in Delhi were detected with Corona positive, government in the evening upheld both Shettar as well the administration.
Government said DCs have not authorized to declare about the positive cases while only negative cases, only government can announce about the positive cases for which minister Shettar’ declaration and the administration statement created confusion.
The government said 4 people – 3 from Belagavi and 1 from Bagalkot – tested positive on Friday. The trio from Belagavi had returned from Delhi religious meeting in the beginning of the week. All have been kept under the surveillance at the Isolation ward at district hospital.
