Pragativahini News, Chitradurga : A girl from Baramasagar village in Chitradurga who was raped by a driver has been tested COVID-19 positive on Thursday.
The incident landed the judge who heard and recorded the statement of the girl, a doctor and also 9 police personnel who handled the case. All are expected the quarantined for seven days.
The girl was raped in last week and she complained with the police. Police after completing medical test at the government hospital produced her before the judge. The girl’s COVID-19 test report arrived on Thursday tested her infected for which who came across her have to undergo quarantine.

The judge, doctor tested her at the hospital, 9 police constables attached to Baramasagar police station and 2 women police constables from Women Police station who attended her have to go quarantine.
The rape accused is still at large. If seen the travel history of the girls and those attended her, dozens of other people have to be traced and to be quarantined.
